Event For Moms in Cebu: Mommy Mundo ExpoMom 2017

A couple of weeks ago, on June 17, 2017, a Saturday, Mommy Mundo had its annual expo for moms and mom entrepreneurs at the activity center of Ayala Center Cebu.  ExpoMom gives businesses and entrepreneurs the chance to feature and display their products and services.  There aren’t many events like this for moms in Cebu so I was excited to check this one out.

First of all, it’s best to register for their event.  I wasn’t aware of this but it was a good thing a friend of mine informed me.  Upon registering at their welcome booth, we were given some freebies, a can of Motts apple juice, Sanicare samples of baby lotion and diaper cream and a sample of Kinder Choco Cereal.  I was glad that my little girl loved the cereal and I found the rest of the freebies very useful.

There was a crafts area from featuring art activities for kids.  I heard that they also showed a calligraphy demo.  Crafts2Go sells handmade art projects and crafts packages for kids that are lovingly made by hand.

Another activity for kids was the play area from Gymboree.  Several kids stayed there and had fun sliding and jumping around.  Gymboree, located in Banilad Town Center, offers both classes and playtime in an informal setting for preschoolers and young children.  Their facilities and equipment are safe and fun, their teachers skilled and helpful, and their environment encourages learning and creativity.

One business, Seedstudiotoys, showcased their charming wooden toys.  The toys are handcrafted and since they’re made of wood, they’re sturdy and quite safe.  Parents won’t need to worry about their children being exposed to any toxic chemicals which are unfortunately found in some plastic toys.

The owner of PastaBella, Mabel Paredes was also there with jars of her delicious pasta sauces available in sun dried tomato pesto and basil pesto.  Their restaurant is located in F. Cabahug St., Cebu City.  I highly recommend their lasagna, too, it’s a must try!

Another booth featured an incredibly healthy and versatile natural product, apple cider vinegar.  From cleaning the home, to improving your health such as immunity and digestion, and enhancing your complexion and hair, apple cider vinegar can do the job.  Salutem Apple Cider Vinegar is a guaranteed potent product because it’s manufactured “with the mother” a term that means the product is organic, unrefined and includes beneficial bacteria.

Useful, handy and colorful containers, food keepers, utensils and other accessories were also on display in one booth.  These containers are of top quality and made by trusted international brands.  Containers, equipment and accessories like these used to be hard to find in Cebu but are now more available in selected stores in Cebu City.

For commercial brands, Tempra, Cradle, Sanicare and Cycles were also there, giving free samples of their childcare products.  Tempra handed out Tempra tablets for kids, from Cradle a small sachet of their bottle cleaner liquid, from Cycles small tubes of diaper protective cream and baby lotion, and from Sanicare some of their cotton buds.

There were several other booths at the expo including baby care devices, hygiene equipment, and excellent natural products like essential oils.  Unfortunately, I can’t remember them all but all the products there were certainly enticing as well as useful for parents.

The event was both informative and entertaining and I loved learning more about the best products for babies and kids.  At the same time, it was great to see moms and families in Cebu get together and meet at the expo.  Thanks to Mommy Mundo for hosting this wonderful event.  I’m looking forward to next year’s Expo Mom and I do hope we have more events like this in Cebu.
